Roxane Monette is a fitness coach, personal trainer, fitness competitor and mentor to many who choose to embark on a fitness journey for improved health.  From being 50Lbs overweight to winning two 3rd place medals in her first bikini fitness competition, Roxane has been through a complete lifestyle change.  From this journey, she began helping those around her achieve their personal fitness goals and acted as a leader for them to follow in her proudly laid footsteps.  In 2013, Roxane obtained her certification as a personal trainer and a pre & post-natal fitness specialist and there began her professional journey to helping others succeed in their ambitious goals.

 

Among many professional responsibilities, Roxane’s most essential role in the physical education facility is to lead a group of women through a successful 6-week transformation challenge through mentoring and guiding them through challenging workouts safely and effectively.  These women count on her guidance, support and expertise to help them make positive changes not only in their physical selves, but spiritual selves as well.

 

As a busy mother of two teenagers and step-mother of two tweens, Roxane, much like most of her followers, has had to overcome obstacles that could easily allow for excuses to skip workout sessions and/or deviate from a well-intentioned nutrition plan.  By overcoming these challenges herself, she is able to provide personal advice to others who face the same troubles and empathize while making light of their situations.


Roxane has set one professional goal and one personal goal for 2017/2018.  Personally, she has set a challenge for herself to participate in her second fitness competition in spring of 2018 and has begun preparations for a successful outcome.  Professionally, she is working fiercely at writing her first book called “Fit Inside Out, A Beginner’s Guide to a Healthy Body and Mindset.  WTF Is So Scary About Fitness?!”  She aims to help others who, like her past self, feel lost when embarking on their own beautiful fitness journey.  On her spare time, you’ll find her rollerblading along the picturesque Ottawa canal.
